Sites visited were: RSPB Titchwell, Brancaster, Burnham Overy Staithe , Holkham and Cley.
One of the highlights was a boat trip to see the Seals and Terns ( 4 species seen) at Blakeney Point on what was a fairly sunny and dry day!
Egyptian Goose (Juvenile)
A Woodpigeon bathing during a very heavy rain shower!
Ahh! That's better!
Now that's better, warm sunshine!
(I hasten to add this is not the same Woodpigeon as above, there were too many to distinguish between)
Spoonbills flying over Holkham Pines on their way to roost. Marsh Harriers were also viewed hunting the meadows and fields.
Goldfinch, Long-tailed Tits, Jackdaws aplenty, Oystercatchers and Rabbits were to be seen in fields close by where we were staying.
Blakeney Point Seal Trip
Somebody cannot read!
What a delightful house boat!
Old Lifeboat House, which is now used as a base for the wardens during the summer and also as an information centre.
Cley Nature Reserve
Ever decreasing circles
Oh! We ain`t got a barrel of money
Maybe we`re ragged and funny
But we`ll travel along
Singing a song
Side by side
A Caterpillar that I have yet to ID. Any help with the ID would be most appreciated.
I will end my post of the wonderful area that is North Norfolk with an image of a Song Thrush which are always a joy to see, taken on our 2nd visit of the trip to RSPB Titchwell before returning home.
